Among other things, the footage depicts summary executions, a prisoner being lynched, the desecration of corpses, and even a beheading. The targets of the most serious abuse are frequently black African prisoners. The ultimate source of the footage appears to be rebel forces or sympathizers themselves.”

Sounds pretty much to me like the sort of things Jihadists do.

Gaddafi forces using cluster bombs, claim rebels – Africa, World – The Independent

Human Rights Watch special adviser Fred Abrahams said it had “no doubt whatsoever” that cluster munitions had been used by regime forces and had photographic evidence that MAT-120 bombs were involved.

Libya has not signed up to an international ban on cluster bombs but Mr Abrahams said their indiscriminate nature meant they were nevertheless “a violation of the rule of war”.

“Human Rights Watch has been bought by George Soros, he recently announced $100 million funding for them. They were also present in Egypt, conveniently close to TV cameras when needed. This story has not been reported elsewhere…yet.    What a mess Libya has become on so many levels.

Realistically, think of it.  What possible interest would the United States or Barack Obama have in admitting this?  By temporarily giving aid and cover to a rag tag band of recycled Al Qaeda, the United States may have just enabled Islamic terrorists to profit handsomely from their brief gambit in Libya, and helped them fulfill their goal of harming Israel.

Debka.com reports that Libyan rebels ransacked chemical weapons storage depots in Benghazi and have sold them….for  the equivalent of millions of dollars to Hezbollah and Hamas.

The deadly nerve agents are now on their way for use against…Israel. (more…)

Why isn’t anyone asking these questions?

So we and the U.K. will agree to arm Al Qaeda rebels in Libya, even though they have already stolen missiles from Muammar Gaddafi while we were helping them?

And the rebels are setting up their own central bank and oil company even though Muammar Gaddafi is still alive and in charge?

And we are also going to let Al Qaeda have access to Libyan oil so that we can buy it from them?

So, we will give a multi-million or multi-billion dollar oil business to rebels who admit they are Al Qaeda, or rather, [according to NATO chief] to “flickers” of Al Qaeda?

Meanwhile, Iran will have nuclear weapons ready in two years, and is heralding the death of Israel and the return of the “12^th Imam?”

As Gaddafi himself put it in a statement Tuesday:  “How come you attack those who fight Al Qaeda?”

It has been reported that the no-fly zone over Libya costs the US taxpayers 3.2million lbs. of jet fuel per day, and that is not including the fuel burned by the refueling tankers that are almost constantly in the air.

I wonder how much CO2 that is putting up there?
