10:10 produced a star studded sicko fantasy of what their real Christmas gift wish is for the world. When you can’t convince people with reason, mark anyone who disagrees, blow up their children.

Their true nature is so on display… softly, softly,  quietly under the guise of “nice”: trick them, decieve them, say “No Pressure”, and then be judge, jury and executioner in gratuitous orgasmic revenge: press a button and see exploding blood and guts splat on the wall.

The sore losers are soooooo frustrated.

Spot the difference with green terrorism and Islamic Extremists. At least the jihadi’s are not pretending to hide their greedy egotistical self-interest by pretending to “care” about the planet.

The entire green movement of the world needs to answer this. It doesn’t matter whether they made it or not.  They can’t hide behind this as a joke. Would they let any vigilante out there produce a video of someone blowing up, say, boat people’s kids? Should such a sick “joke” as that be put online. Any true human-rights-respecting, tolerant, compassionate speaking person must denounce the 10:10 video in no uncertain terms.

They used former-stars people who used to have some social standing (what were they thinking?). Gillian Anderson (x-files),  Peter Crouch (footballer), David Ginola (a French footballer), Richard Curtis (film maker, eg Love Actually, Notting Hill), and Radiohead. (more…)

You have just released a video which has entered history as the most emetic, ugly, counterproductive eco-propaganda movie ever made. Had a look? Well, I’m certain you’ll agree that detonating school kids, footballers and movie stars into gory pulp for ignoring their carbon footprints is attention-grabbing.

It then goes on to quote one or two of the usual suspects, such as this light-hearted, “no we don’t really want to blow up schoolchildren for showing insufficient environmental zeal, that’s just our sense of humour, ha ha ha ha” little missy:

“Doing nothing about climate change is still a fairly common affliction, even in this day and age. What to do with those people, who are together threatening everybody’s existence on this planet? This cinema advertisement is being portrayed as a humorous “attention-grabber”, the warmists’ idea of gentle fun to promote the idea of individuals cutting down their “carbon” (meaning carbon dioxide) footprint.

The central idea is that disparate groups (and individuals) are invited to join a “groupthink” campaign. The “refuseniks” are then asked to identify themselves, all under the catch-phrase “no pressure”.

Invariably portrayed as sullen and humourless, the “unbelievers” – having been “outed” – are publicly executed in a manner that leaves little to the imagination. The effects are not dissimilar to that of a terrorist bomb, their deaths “activated” by a little grey box with a red button, very much in the manner of triggering a bomb. I finally had a chance to watch the movie about Svensmark’s work on “The Cloud Mystery” and found it fascinating.  Both Svensmark from Denmark and Nir Shaviv from Hebrew University in Israel make a strong case for a galactic cosmic ray origin for climate change over periods as short as a decade to as long as 150 million years:

The short term variations in the galactic cosmic rays and therefore the cloud cover are caused by variations in the solar magnetic field frozen into the solar wind.  This large spiral magnetic field is carried out to about 100 AU in roughly a year by the supersonic solar wind traveling at 400 km/sec.  It modulates incoming galactic cosmic rays by convecting them out of the solar system as they attempt to diffuse inward.  Sunspots are the visual manifestation of the Sun’s magnetic activity.  We have records of them going back to Galileo in 1610.

Very long term variations in the cosmic rays reaching the earth are caused by the solar system’s orbit about the center of our Milky Way galaxy.  When we enter one of the major spiral arms of the galaxy, the galactic cosmic ray intensity increases which increases our cloud cover and cools the earth.  The data show periodic cooling of the earth over periods of 150 million years corresponding to entry into the spiral arms.
